Mar-Allen Concrete Products, Inc is a Heavy & Highway Contractor servicing Governmental, Industrial, Commercial & Amusement Park Clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Perform month-end closing, reconciliations and GL accounting
- Job costing - assisting with WIP schedules & job profitability reviews
- In House payroll functions
- Human Resource functions & maintaining H/R records
- Insurances - Health - Work Comp - General Liability - Auto
- Tax filing and month end/year end reporting
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of accounting or advanced bookkeeping experience
- Understanding accrual accounting, debits/credits
- Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook & experience with accounting programs
Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, teamwork initiative & willingness to learn
Preferred
- Experience in construction or related job costing
- Exposure to payroll procedures
