Job Description:
Maquoketa Care Center is now hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper. This is a first shift position and includes every other weekend. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to be responsible for tasks and general cleaning. In this position you will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and experience with customer assistance and service are required. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn. Responsibilities:
- Performs routine cleaning of assigned areas using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants to high standards of cleanliness and disinfecting as desired
- Upon resident discharge, sanitizes room contents for a terminal clean
- All cleaning is to be performed following established procedures
- Completes cleaning assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with housekeeping procedures
- Shows good communication with clinical and non-clinical staff to efficiently execute daily tasks in assigned areas
Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least one year experience in cleaning preferred but not required
- Experience in health care setting preferred but not required
Education
