K-12 Instructional Strategist I or II
2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications:
- Meet the Department of Education Certification
- Teach endorsement to include Instructional Strategist I (K-8 Mild/Moderate) or Strategist II
- Belief that all students have genius and are leaders
- Positive collaboration skills and ability to make data supported instructional decisions
- Familiarity with a variety of research based early literacy and numeracy instructional strategies
Duties:
- Plan and provide academic instruction according to student IEPs
- Monitor, update IEP and input progress monitoring data into IEP
- Supervise and oversee the daily schedule of special education associate
- Work collaboratively with students and staff to meet the building and districtwide initiatives
- Plan with Special Education and General Education Teachers
Preference will be given to the candidate who:
- Will be able to collaborate and co-teach in the building with general and special education teachers
- Possesses the best qualifications and trainings to meet the needs of the students
- Has a working knowledge of strategies to meet the behavior and academic goals of special education students and Building Initiatives (PLC/Leader in Me)
- Presents the strongest interview
- Evident of being collaborative, has a growth mindset and is flexible
- Enter IEP data in accordance with IEP including meeting timelines for data entry
Rate of Compensation:
- As per 2026-27 Teachers Master Contract
