Summary
The Regional Manager is responsible for the performance and execution of KRJA Systems Inc. business across the North American region, consisting of the USA and Canada, ensuring alignment with global strategy and corporate direction.
This role focuses on delivering sustainable and profitable growth through strong operational execution, effective leadership of regional teams, and disciplined financial management. The Regional Manager contributes market insight and operational perspective to support global strategic decision-making.
The role plays a key part in building a high-performing, aligned, and accountable organization, while progressively expanding scope toward broader business ownership.

Core Responsibilities
Business Performance & P&L Accountability
- Own and drive regional performance to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets, while maintaining disciplined cost management.
- Define and manage operating budgets for the region in collaboration with the CEO.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide accurate forecasting and visibility on business performance.
- Support cash flow visibility and financial sustainability in partnership with Finance.
- Contribute to financial planning and provide input on investment priorities, risks, and trade-offs, building capability toward broader financial ownership over time.
Execution of Strategy
- Execute global and regional strategies within the North American market.
- Contribute insights on market trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between regional execution and global priorities.
Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional management team.
- Establish clear accountability, roles, and performance expectations across teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Maptek’s Guiding Principles.
- Contribute to the evolution of the organisational structure as the business grows.
- Ensure leaders are equipped with the skills, training, and support required to perform effectively.
- Identify capability gaps and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Drive coordination and collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, and Support functions.
- Improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and consistency across the region.
- Ensure alignment between regional execution and global functional priorities.
- Provide guidance and challenge to functional leaders, ensuring decisions reflect regional priorities and financial objectives.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Support key customer relationships and strategic accounts.
- Represent the business in the region in alignment with global positioning.
- Promote the value of Maptek’s solutions in the market.
Governance & Communication
- Report regularly to the CEO on performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Escalate critical issues to the CEO with clear recommendations of any issues, opportunities, disputes or other events which may impact the company and may require the attention or action of the Directors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to align with Maptek’s strategies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of the mining and resources industry, including key stakeholders, market trends, and challenges.
- Experience in business operations and management ( 10 years), ideally within Maptek or similar environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop managers and build high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and understanding of revenue and cost drivers.
- Ability to make decisions aligned with business outcomes and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Ability to interpret business performance and contribute to strategic planning.
- Strong prioritisation skills in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.
- Knowledge of Maptek’s solutions and business practices is desirable.

- Execute regional business plans aligned with global strategy.
- Provide market and performance insights to support planning and decision-making.
- Lead and support a high-performing management team through coaching and feedback.
- Delegate effectively, enabling ownership while maintaining accountability.
- Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across the business.
- Communicate priorities and expectations clearly across the region.
- Support engagement with key customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication with the CEO on business performance and key developments.
- Work with HR (People Services) to ensure teams are equipped and supported to deliver business outcomes.
- Perform other duties as required.
Summary of compensation and benefits:
- Base Salary: USD $ 200,000 - $ 230,000 Incentive Plan
- Compensation commensurate with experience and skills
