Maplewood Rehab and Nursing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. - Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct therapy services to residents in accordance with established goals
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
- Assist with patient evaluations and discharge planning
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Massachusetts COTA license (or eligibility)
- NBCOT certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required
