Join our dedicated team at The Maplewood as a Part-Time Dietician! We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable professional to provide nutritional guidance and support for our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric nutrition, be able to create individualized meal plans and collaborate with dining services and nursing staff to ensure optimal health outcomes. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' nutritional needs and preferences
- Develop and implement personalized meal plans
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure dietary requirements are met and food quality is maintained
- Educate residents and staff on nutrition-related topics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
