Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Motivate and encourage residents throughout their rehabilitation journey
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
Contribute to a positive, patient-centered therapy environment
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current Pennsylvania PTA license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required
