Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily custodial operations across facility, ensuring all cleaning and sanitation tasks meet established standards.
- Operate custodial equipment including but not limited to wet/dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers and electric carts.
- Plan, coordinate, establish priorities, and supervise the daily cleaning and daily maintenance of multiple University buildings
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations related to custodial activities, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols, identify areas for improvement, and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and maintaining positive communication with staff and stakeholders.
Skills
- Extensive experience in cleaning, sanitation management, industrial cleaning, and commercial cleaning environments.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee janitorial services, laundry operations, hospitality functions, and housekeeping management.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
