Entering the next chapter of significant growth we have an exciting opening for a commercially astute Head of Legal who will own Maple’s global legal and regulatory strategy, ensuring the company scales compliantly as the leading on-chain asset manager.

The opportunity

Reporting directly into the CEO, this pivotal role will work closely with the Executive Team leading on all legal and regulatory decisions that support Maple’s global on-chain asset management business, guiding legal negotiations, structuring international operations and managing legal risk while enabling institutional adoption of Maple’s credit products.

This role requires a strategic, commercial and hands-on leader who can operate confidently in complex lending and credit transactions, and partner effectively with institutional clients, regulators and internal teams.

About you

You will be licensed to practice in one or more U.S. states (or equivalent jurisdiction) with a strong understanding of crypto and transactional deal team experience (in lending, securities, financial services, capital markets or digital assets). You thrive in high-paced ambiguous environments and are motivated to build the legal foundation of a category-defining on-chain financial institution.
