Front of House - Expo

At Biscuit Belly, the Expo is the engine that keeps service flowing. You’re the connector between BOH and FOH, the guardian of food quality, and the person who ensures every plate that hits the table reflects our bold flavors and relentless hospitality. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love orchestrating smooth service, and take pride in making food look as good as it tastes, this role is for you.

Our Expos embody Genuine Authenticity, Deliciously Bold energy, and Relentless Hospitality every shift — and they help make Damn Good Biscuits even better.

What You’ll Do

Genuine Authenticity

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with BOH and FOH to keep the flow smooth (“Open, clear communication during rushes”)

• Own mistakes quickly and help correct them with kindness

• Maintain a calm, grounded presence even when the kitchen is moving fast

• Ensure every plate reflects the real, scratch‑made quality we stand for

Deliciously Bold

• Ensure dishes leave the window looking vibrant, flavorful, and Instagram‑ready (“Dishes bursting with flavor, color, and personality”)

• Bring positive, high‑energy vibes to the expo line

• Celebrate great plates, great teamwork, and great moments

• Help maintain the fun, upbeat atmosphere that defines the Biscuit Belly experience

Relentless Hospitality

• Anticipate needs before they arise — restocking, calling out items, supporting servers (“Supporting teammates without being asked”)

• Keep ticket times tight and service flowing smoothly

• Handle issues with calmness, grace, and generosity

• Support FOH and BOH with a team‑first mindset, especially during rushes

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the expo line with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail

• Ensure every dish meets Biscuit Belly’s quality, plating, and temperature standards

• Communicate clearly with BOH on timing, modifications, and remakes

• Coordinate with FOH to run food quickly and correctly

• Maintain a clean, organized expo station throughout service

• Support FOH tasks such as running food, bussing tables, and resetting the dining room

• Resolve guest concerns related to food quality or timing with empathy and urgency

Who Thrives Here

A Biscuit Belly Expo is a conductor, a communicator, and a quality champion. You keep the heartbeat of service steady, support your teammates without being asked, and ensure every guest receives a plate that reflects our bold flavors and warm hospitality. You bring calm under pressure, energy to the rush, and pride to every dish that leaves the window.

If this sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to meet you.
