What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at Maple Run Unified School District?
Maple Run Unified School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist. An OT assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs and services that help restore educational, vocational and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to disabled students according to their Individual Educational Plans.
Education and/or Experience: Master’s degree. Demonstrated skill in working with secondary school students with disabilities is required. Working knowledge of Special Education state and federal guidelines, regulations and laws is essential. Knowledge and experience with occupational therapy strategies, accommodations and interventions for secondary students with physical and cognitive challenges.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Occupational Therapist License required. Current certificates in CPR and first aid preferred.
