Maple Ridge rehabilitation is currently looking for self-motivated individuals who are ready to progress their career with a Utah based Cooperation. The new Maple Ridge Rehab and Nursing is a 36 bed Medicaid only Nursing Facility that deals mostly with long term patient who need continued assistance with ADLs and Med Management.

We are looking for a Dietary Cook/Aide to add to our team to prepare satisfactory meals for our residents. You will be responsible for with food prep, cooking, tray line serving, and kitchen keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best work with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing a positive atmosphere to promote high quality healthcare.

Job Responsibilities

• Follows scheduled meal recipes to ensure diet orders are being followed.
• Prep and cook meals in a timely fashion
• Present food in appetizing and dignified manor
• Keep kitchen area clean and free of contaminations

Qualifications:

• Has a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must be able to follow directions, cooperates with co-workers, and perform assigned tasks.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Utah Department of Health.
• Minimum 1 year of Cooking experience.
• Have current Utah food handlers permit.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (Required)
