Part-Time Direct Care Professional
Position Title: Direct Care Professional (Part-Time)
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Three Days Per Week, Including Every Other Weekend
Location: Maple Ridge Living Center of Lake City
Pay: $16 - $19/ hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Direct Care Professional to provide quality residential care and support to an individual in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting dignity, comfort, and independence while delivering attentive personal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including:
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting assistance
- Safe transfers and mobility support
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and report any changes in health or well-being
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with the individuals receiving care and their family/support team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in direct care, home health, caregiving, CNA, or a related field preferred
- Excellent bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and personal care tasks
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
