Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
- Process cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in managing inventory by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support banquet or special event services as required.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, particularly in restaurant or nightclub settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and the ability to adhere to health regulations.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
