We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drayage Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. As a Drayage Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transportation operations. About the Position

Job Title: Drayage Dispatcher

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Salary: $42,000.00- $60,000 per year, dependent on experience.

Report to: Operations Supervisor

Location: Bellevue/Redmond, WA

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

·        Coordinate the transportation of goods via drayage, ensuring on-time pick-up and delivery.

·        Liaise with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to schedule and monitor drayage activities.

·        Track and update shipment status in real-time using our logistics management system.

·        Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process.

·        Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

·        Collaborate with the procurement team to secure competitive rates and contracts with drayage providers.

·        Generate reports and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.

·        Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications

·        Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·        Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·        Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·        Strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to multi-task effectively.

·        Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

·        Ability to work under pressure.

·        No OPT or SPT sponsor.

Education & Experience

·        Degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field (preferred).

·        Minimum 1-3 years of experience in ocean freight forwarder or a similar role.

·        Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.

·        Reading and writing proficiency in a second language (preferred)
