Part Time Math Teacher (Potential for Full-Time)
WHO WE ARE
Maple Lake Academy for Boys is a residential treatment center for adolescents (boys 13 to 18 years old) on the autistic spectrum. Our students are high functioning dealing with deficits in social skills, life skills, inability to understand their own emotions or put their emotions into words. We provide a safe and nurturing home like environment for our students to learn skills that push them in the areas mentioned above. Our team works with our client population daily, hands on, and in one-on-one situations.
Are you passionate about math and eager to make a real impact in a private, small class setting? Maple Lake Academy is looking for an innovative and creative math teacher to join our team! We specialize in supporting high-functioning students on the Autism Spectrum, helping them thrive in a structured yet dynamic learning environment. What we’re Looking For:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or currently completing one)
- A passion for working with neurodiverse learners
- Creative and engaging teaching strategies that make math come alive
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with secondary students (ages 12-18)
- A desire to inspire and challenge high-ability students
