Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse based in Williamsville, NY. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care by taking vital signs, administering medications and vaccinations, performing routine procedures, assisting physicians during exams, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additional responsibilities include patient education, coordinating follow-up care, and ensuring a safe and clean clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in taking vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, and assisting with routine medical procedures
- Strong knowledge of patient care standards, medical terminology, and clinical documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and work effectively within a healthcare team
- Attention to detail and organizational ability for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and ensuring accuracy in patient records
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of New York
- Experience in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is highly desirable
- CPR certification and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems are preferred
