Job summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
- Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
- Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
- Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
- Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
- Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
- Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary: View Classification 2 salary schedule on page 4 on the Educational Support Professionals agreement
Work schedule: 6 hours/day, 7:30-2:00 M-F on student contact days
Desired start date: September 8, 2026
