The Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District serves students in grades 4K-8. Students in our schools reside in Bayside, Fox Point, Glendale, and River Hills. We also serve students from the Greater Milwaukee area. As a staff, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our students, families, and each other. Special education paraprofessionals are responsible for working with students in small groups and one-on-one situations in the general and special education environments. Paraprofessionals work under the direction of the special education and classroom teachers. Requirements include a responsible person with strong communication and organizational skills, who has a desire to build positive relationships with students and staff, and a willingness to learn and take direction. Other duties may include supervision of students. Additional training is provided throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Associate Degree in Education or equivalent education or experience preferred
- Eligibility for DPI licensure as a Special Education Program Aide is required
