Provides technical oversight and evolution over business written through Alternative Channels, including partnerships with lead sourcing and digital media. Manages the Technical Product Management & Underwriting efforts to develop and maintain profitable and competitive product and pricing. Monitors and responds when appropriate to regulatory developments and competitor products, filings and rates. Coordinates strategies with Marketing, Underwriting, Claims and other departments to achieve these objectives.
Desired Background and skills:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred.
Experience: 9 - 11 years of relevant experience, at least 6-7 years in Property Casualty Product Pricing, or Product Management and Underwriting
3 or more years in a Supervisor/Manager level position or above preferred.
A track record of success working cross-functionally in team management.
- Excellent at developing and articulating vision and strategy that meet business goals
- Collaborative problem solving and working style to drive change through influence; honed interpersonal skills
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills and an understanding of business metrics
- Demonstrated writing and verbal presentation skills enabling her/him to prepare and present information and recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience
