What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company Car Sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard Comprehensive Benefits Offering Career development opportunities within a growing organization Supportive leadership and a team that values your expertise What You’ll Do Conduct accurate vehicle damage assessments using industry-leading software Prepare itemized appraisals for parts, labor, and materials Negotiate with repair shops, claimants, and policyholders to ensure fair and safe repairs Stay current on repair techniques, labor rates, and state regulations Travel for field inspections, re-inspections, and catastrophe duty as needed What You Bring 3–6 years of appraisal experience I-CAR Certified (preferred, not required) Strong communication and negotiation skills A commitment to customer service and integrity Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree or specialized training Valid MA Appraiser License (Required) Experience negotiating with autobody repair shops and using industry appraisal software Passion for continuous learning and industry engagement Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
