- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting campaigns, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday.
- Facilitate new employee orientation sessions to ensure smooth onboarding and integration into the company culture.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data and assisting with performance management programs.
- Maintain accurate HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry and ensure data collection is complete and up-to-date using platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM.
- Administer benefits programs and benefits documentation, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Assist in employee relations activities by addressing routine inquiries, managing conflict resolution support, and promoting positive communication across teams.
- Contribute to HR sourcing strategies, social media management for recruitment campaigns, and organization design initiatives to support workforce management and strategic planning.
- Proven experience in administrative roles within Human Resources or related fields with familiarity in HR sourcing, benefits administration, or payroll systems like Paychex or ADP.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as UltiPro, Dayforce, or Ceridian; experience with ATS systems like Taleo or iCIMS is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of training & development practices, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and performance management strategies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information related to employee records and contracts.
