Overview
I am seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment within my daycare.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, bathroom,, hallways, common areas and kitchen using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct detailed custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Proven dedication to hard work and routine each day
- Attentive to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Organization skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
