Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
- Ensure accurate loading and securement of goods to prevent damage during transit
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Maintain delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and stock organization
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with route driving and commercial vehicle operation
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly with heavy lifting, moving, forklift operation, or pallet jack use
- Proven ability to handle heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Valid
driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred - Experience in courier services or similar roles involving load & unload operations is beneficial
