Job Overview
Manzo Food Sales is seeking a business-savvy, outgoing, and results-driven Sales Manager to drive growth across foodservice, retail, distribution, and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team.
- Develop and execute sales plans to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Identify and secure new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, leads, and industry events.
- Build relationships with distributors, restaurant groups, hospitality companies, healthcare facilities, schools, universities, retail accounts, and e-commerce customers.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while providing first-class customer service.
- Partner with distributor sales teams to increase product penetration.
- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and sales negotiations.
- Develop forecasts, annual sales plans, and account strategies.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and future industry opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and programs while protecting company profitability.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Proven sales, business development, account management, or sales leadership experience.
- Experience managing, coaching, or developing a sales team.
- Demonstrated success in growing revenue and developing new business.
- Strong business judgment and understanding of sales, margins, profitability, and forecasting.
- Highly motivated, outgoing, organized, and accountable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to learn new products, systems, industries, and sales channels quickly.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business software.
Preferred Experience
- Foodservice, food distribution, food manufacturing, specialty food, imported food, retail, hospitality, consumer products, or e-commerce experience.
- Experience working with Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group, Gordon Food Service, Cheney Brothers, or similar distributors.
- Existing relationships with restaurant groups, distributors, retailers, chefs, or foodservice operators.
- Experience managing regional or national accounts.
- Knowledge of food costing, purchasing, menu development, or restaurant operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
