We are building a clean, premium, New Zealand-inspired baby brand and are looking for a creative Videographer / Video Editor to help us plan, shoot, and edit high-quality content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer / Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience in video shooting, video editing, social media content creation, and visual storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone who can help with content planning, video shooting, video editing, font/text editing, subtitles, thumbnails, and social media creative. The ideal candidate understands how to create content that feels clean, soft, premium, modern, and trustworthy for a baby care brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan video ideas and content concepts for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and social media ads.
- Shoot product videos, lifestyle videos, behind-the-scenes videos, and short-form social media content.
- Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Edit longer videos for YouTube, product education, brand storytelling, and promotional campaigns.
- Add clean font styling, text overlays, subtitles, captions, titles, transitions, music, and sound effects.
- Create strong hooks, clean pacing, and engaging storytelling for social media videos.
- Help create content calendars, video concepts, storylines, shot lists, and creative directions.
- Create YouTube thumbnails and simple social media graphics when needed.
- Repurpose video content into multiple formats for different platforms.
- Maintain a consistent Manukind brand look across all videos.
- Work with the marketing team to improve engagement, watch time, brand trust, and conversion.
- Use Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics, animated text, branded transitions, product callouts, and clean visual effects.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in videography, video editing, social media content creation, or a related creative role.
- Experience shooting and editing videos for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other social media platforms.
- Experience with font editing, subtitles, text overlays, captions, and clean visual layout.
- Strong sense of video pacing, storytelling, lighting, composition, and brand style.
- Ability to create soft, premium, clean, modern, and parent-friendly content.
- Ability to work independently, follow creative direction, and meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Video shooting using a camera, smartphone, or basic production setup.
- Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Basic graphic/design ability using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media video formats and sizing.
- Good eye for fonts, spacing, text placement, colors, and visual balance.
- Ability to create subtitles, thumbnails, text overlays, and simple motion graphics.
- Adobe After Effects
Plus Skills
- Experience using a DAW such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, GarageBand, FL Studio, or similar audio software.
- Basic audio cleanup, voiceover editing, music mixing, or sound design experience.
- Experience with baby, mom, parenting, skincare, beauty, wellness, eco-friendly, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience creating TikTok-style videos, UGC-style videos, or paid social ads.
- Product photography or product video experience.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
- Experience planning content calendars or video concepts.
- Understanding of YouTube retention, TikTok hooks, Instagram Reels, and conversion-focused creative.

Compensation
Compensation depends on experience, portfolio quality, location, and whether the role is part-time or full-time.
