Responsibilities Include
- We are seeking a skilled and precise CNC Machinist / Machine Operator primarily focused on Haas Milling machines. This role requires strong technical ability to set up, operate, and perform quality checks to ensure optimal machine performance and product accuracy.
- Operate and perform minor set-ups on Haas CNC Vertical Mills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine production methods and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or material issues, adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or tooling problems during a run.
- Complete production documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills And Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate and perform minor setups on CNC Milling machines (primarily Haas).
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and utilizing GD&T.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
- Solid understanding of standard machine shop practices, materials, and tooling.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- 2-3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines is preferred.
- We will entertain recent graduates from accredited machine training schools with relevant hands-on experience.
