Welder or Non-Welder Laborer - Monday to Thursday Days

We are looking for reliable, motivated, and hard-working employees to join our team. Willing to train potential employees who are willing to learn. We are hiring for both welding and non-welding positions. Perform a variety of tasks in assembling animal traps, including welding. Welding experience appreciated but not required. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, Stand/Walk for an extended period of time, Work in fluctuating temperatures (building is heated/cooled), and Work in a warehouse environment. Repetitious work. Pay depends on experience. Full-time positions with benefits available. Part-time positions available with flexible schedules as well. Normal working hours are Monday-Thursday, 7 am-5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

Welding position:

• Align components using jigs, stands etc. and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
• Test and inspect welded surface to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Non-Welding position:

• Cutting steel wire components, attaching steel components using pneumatic clip guns.
• Test and inspect assembled items
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Skills

• Experience as welder is a plus but not required; we will train if interested
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) a plus but not required
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Deftness and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
