Coiler / Machine Operator (CNC/Cam)

We are seeking a full-time Spring Coiler, or anyone with CNC and/or cam-driven machinery experience, as a Set-Up specialist.

Duties include:

• Set up and/or operate automatic spring coiling machines (either CNC or cam/gear driven)
• Select speeds, feeds, and tooling
• Prevent machine marks on product by maintaining tools
• Perform in-process inspections and documentation to assure proper dimension conformance
• Complete proper paperwork concerning maintenance, dimension checks, labels, etc.
• Contribute toward a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Skills:

• Use and read micrometers and calipers, optical gauges, and other measuring tools
• Basic math skills (adding dimensions, comparing tolerances, etc.)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable making and modifying metal tooling
• Depending on size of spring line, periodic lifting up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

• 1 year in CNC or gear driven machinery setup and operation
• 1 year in automotive related manufacturing ( Preferred but not required)

Salary is based on experience.

Hours: M-F 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (overtime as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
