What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre Weigh Technician position at Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical?
JOB SUMMARY
The Pre-Weigh Technician will be responsible for safely & accurately weighing and recording production chemicals. In all situations a Pre-weigh Technician is expected to perform at the highest levels of Quality, Safety, Cleanliness and Productivity. The Technician must also work in a manner that earns respect and confidence of peers and senior staff members.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Daily
o Arrive to work at 7:00AM and report to management.
o Weigh chemicals as directed by Supervisors and management.
o Informing Supervisors of any issues.
o Maintain utmost cleanliness of the work areas
o Have a full understanding of batch folder requirements.
o Have working knowledge of cGMP
This is a general list designed to outline the responsibilities of the Pre-Weigh Technician. Additional tasks will be expected to be completed when deemed necessary by Pre-Weigh Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to work with little additional supervision once properly trained and directed
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
· Arrive prepared to work as outlined in GEN-008
· Understand & adhere to all company issued safety and PPE training
· Understand & adhere to all company issued Good Manufacturing Process [GMP] training
· Ability to read and understand documentation associated with the job requirements such as cleaning logbooks
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Valid US working documents
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Lift 75 lb. maximum
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
