Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician I
Shift: 2nd shift
Compensation: $24–$26 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Technician I to support facility maintenance operations during the third shift. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems within an industrial or commercial setting.

The Maintenance Technician I will assist with routine maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and support the repair and upkeep of equipment under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel. This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of facility systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  
• Support troubleshooting efforts on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in a maintenance role or similar position (previous experience in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance environment is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding safety standards and the ability to follow safety procedures during maintenance tasks.
• Strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Desired Qualifications:

• Technical certification or coursework in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance tasks and processes.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.

Technology Requirements:

• Basic computer skills to document maintenance activities, access work orders, and track parts and inventory.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
• Ability to take directions from senior maintenance staff and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and certifications.
