Are you a procurement leader who knows how to keep manufacturing operations supplied, control costs, and build strong supplier partnerships?
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing execution and supplier-management activities across multiple manufacturing facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in consumer products, food and beverage, chemicals, packaging, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
The position combines strategic sourcing with hands-on operational leadership. You will manage and develop buyers, negotiate with suppliers, improve material availability, reduce costs, and help ensure production has what it needs to meet customer demand.
Schedule and Compensation

- Hybrid schedule
- In the White Plains office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and support buyers in their daily purchasing activities.
- Develop and execute procurement and supply-chain strategies.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance, material availability, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Identify supply risks and establish backup and dual-source options.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives across purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory.
- Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Inventory teams.
- Support new-product launches by coordinating suppliers and ensuring material readiness.
- Manage procurement KPIs, including inventory turns, order-fill rates, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
- Evaluate systems and tools that improve supply-chain visibility and decision-making.
- Visit suppliers as needed and report supply risks and concerns to senior management.
- Help maintain compliance with FDA, cGMP, OSHA, safety, and company requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience purchasing raw materials, ingredients, packaging, components, or other direct materials.
- Demonstrated success negotiating with suppliers and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Experience managing supplier performance, inventory, and material availability.
- Leadership experience managing or developing buyers or procurement professionals.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with ERP and procurement systems.
Experience with FDA-regulated operations, cGMP, OSHA requirements, Lean Manufacturing, commercialization, or new-product launches is highly desirable.
