Duties
- Responsible for all Automation and Technology services that are not specifically Government-furnished equipment and services

Work within parameters established by the installation Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and perform Local Network and Help Desk support IAW IMCOM ACES guidance, local policy, and site SOP.
Duties include: - On-site desktop system administration support; software support; web services support; server administration support for clustered and standalone; deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting desktops in a VMware View 5.x environment; data backup systems administration services; data network services; VMware View System Administration; automation support; network service support; provide priority support for command staff, and directors; report significant outages and/or customer issues to appropriate management personnel; install, configure, troubleshoot, relocate, and repair desktops, and printers; identify network problems impacting users and work with appropriate Tier III administrators to quickly restore optimum service; resolve desktop problems via Remote Control; add/delete accounts and reset passwords as needed; and assist with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) remediation.
Additional duties may include the following:
- Ensure all information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices are considered and complied with in the delivery of Information Technology (IT) services.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation for unclassified network and Information Systems and the related systems security documentation.
- Ensure all systems are properly certified and accredited in accordance with RMF.
- Install patches and updates to keep all systems compliant with all Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts.
- Provide weekly IAVA compliance report and/or other reports as needed and required.
- Maintain and update all systems in Asset and Vulnerability Tracking Resource (A&VTR).
- Support and implement NEC-IA policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems and data.
- Promote awareness of security issues among users to ensure users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures and that sound security principles are maintained across the Network.
- Perform ongoing information risk assessments, audits, and analysis to ensure information systems are adequately protected, and IAVA compliant.
- Monitor compliance with all DOD, DA, and NEC directives including the use of external drives and equipment.
- Maintain personal work area/office in a clean, neat, professional, and orderly manner.
- Ensure computers and peripherals are clean and operational. 5.3.2.14 Support special events as guided by ESO (i.e. college fairs, graduation, etc.).
Qualifications
- Shall be able to read, write, speak, enunciate clearly, and fully comprehend the English language
- Demonstration of knowledge and proficiency in network administration, Microsoft Server and Computer programs, web-based applications, scan tools, and audio-visual equipment.
- Needs to be qualified to serve as a Systems Administrator (SA), or Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO).
- This position mandates IT Level II and ADP Level II requirements be met and maintained in accordance with AR 25-1, AR 25-2
- High School diploma or GED required
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- A National Agency Check With Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) is required for this position
