We are looking for a Receiving Coordinator to perform various responsibilities including but not limited to providing essential Shipping, Receiving and distribution services for Genesis Manufacturing & Distribution. To provide support in receiving goods off shipments from multiple vendors.
Essential Functions:
Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required
We are looking for a Receiving Coordinator to perform various responsibilities including but not limited to providing essential Shipping, Receiving and distribution services for Genesis Manufacturing & Distribution. To provide support in receiving goods off shipments from multiple vendors.
Essential Functions:
- Help process and supervise all incoming and some outgoing Express/Ground & Freight shipments. Have knowledge of Fedex and UPS shipping software.
- Process all incoming deliveries for GMD utilizing company-supplied software applications; work with Purchasing and Accounting personnel to resolve conflicts.
- Organize distribution of all incoming deliveries to stocking locations in a timely manner.
- Assist with assembly and package supplies for clients when necessary.
- Ensure accuracy in shipments when processing receipt of goods from vendors.
- Oversee the proper file/maintain all records regarding Shipping & Receiving operations.
- Maintain a safe & clean work environment.
- Act as primary back-up for all Shipping & Receiving Operations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager as necessary.
Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required
- High school diploma/GED
- 1 year minimum experience of packaging experience
- Must be computer literate
- Lifting up to 70lbs and reaching
