Position: Welder / Fabricator
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of recent welding experience
Location: Local candidates in the Jersey City / Elizabeth, New Jersey area preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator who can hit the ground running with minimal orientation and training.

The ideal candidate will have:

·     3 years of recent welding and fabrication experience, including electric and gas welding.

·     Previous experience working with large sanitation, recycling, industrial, or similar equipment is strongly preferred.

·     Ability to read and understand blueprints and work independently.

·     Ability to take direction, learn the company's procedures, and then work independently with minimal supervision.

·     Prior welding technical school, vocational training, or equivalent welding education/experience.

·     Excellent communication skills.

·     Reliable, hardworking, dependable, and looking for a long-term career with an established company.

·     Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at work on time every day.

·     Valid New Jersey driver's license and your own transportation.

·     Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. U.S. citizenship is preferred; permanent residents (green-card holders) are welcome to apply.

·     Ability to pass a background check.

·     Must be willing and able to pass a welding skills test and, if required, a drug screening.
