Sewing Machines INDUSTRIAL THICK HEAVY FABRICS EXPERIENCE A MUST

Full-time permanent positions: DAY POSITION

We are looking for the following type of candidates

Industrial Sewer – Qualifications & Experience

2 years of recent experience operating industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with single-needle, double-needle, walking foot, overlock (serger), or programmable sewing machines.

Ability to read and follow work orders, blueprints, patterns, or production specifications

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SEWING HEAVY THICK FABRICS

Experience sewing heavy-duty materials such as canvas, nylon, vinyl, leather, webbing, or other industrial fabrics (if applicable).

Ability to maintain consistent stitch quality while meeting production goals.

Knowledge of thread types, needle selection, machine adjustments, and tension settings.

Experience inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Ability to perform basic machine maintenance, such as changing needles, threading machines, and routine cleaning.

Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds, depending on the job.

Good communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
