Position Overview

MAG is seeking a highly driven and technically advanced Automation Integration Specialist to lead the deployment, integration, and stabilization of automation systems within live production environments.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on making systems work in real-world conditions. You will operate as a key technical leader during commissioning and launch phases, ensuring systems are stable, reliable, and production-ready before handoff to long-term support teams.

  • Configure and validate fleet management systems and communication interfaces
  • Troubleshoot system-to-system communication issues and ensure data flow integrity
3. Advanced Troubleshooting & Technical Ownership

4. Technology Development & Innovation
  • Support development of internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflows
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention and increase reliability
5. Documentation & Standards
  • Develop and maintain system documentation (layouts, interfaces, procedures)
  • Log issues, recovery methods, and configuration changes within MAG systems
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, network, and system integrity standards
6. Training & Handoff
  • Train customer teams and MAG personnel on system operation and recovery
  • Provide structured communication during launches and shift transitions
  • Deliver complete system handoff packages to support teams
7. Production Support
  • Support operations during launch, ramp-up, and stabilization phases
  • Monitor system performance and production impact
  • Communicate risks and system status to stakeholders and leadership

  • Strong understanding of system integration (PLC, networking, software interfaces)
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure production environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills on-site with customers
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with fleet management systems or automation software platforms
  • Exposure to MES systems, industrial networking, or controls systems
  • Previous commissioning or launch experience in manufacturing environments
Work Environment & Expectations
