Overnight Order Selector

Job DescriptionPosition Overview

We are seeking dependable and motivated Overnight Order Selectors to join a busy food distribution warehouse in North Philadelphia. This position is responsible for accurately selecting, organizing, and preparing customer orders for shipment using electric warehouse equipment.

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can meet productivity and accuracy goals while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Select products accurately according to customer orders and picking lists.
• Operate an electric ride-on standing pallet jack to pick and move products throughout the warehouse.
• Build, organize, and secure pallets for shipment.
• Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order accuracy.
• Move completed orders to designated staging and loading areas.
• Meet established picking quotas and productivity targets.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with team members to complete orders on time.
• Handle food products carefully and maintain proper product organization.
• Follow warehouse safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
• Work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas as required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating an electric ride-on standing pallet jack, preferably a double-length pallet jack.
• Previous order selection or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from approximately -10°F in freezers to 40°F in coolers, as well as occasional warm and humid conditions.
• Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to meet established productivity and picking quotas.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Solid, verifiable employment history.
• Previous food distribution or food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must successfully complete required background, physical, and drug screening.

Schedule

• Overnight shifts, typically 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM.
• Five nights per week, generally Sunday through Friday.
• Shifts may extend depending on workload and order completion.
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
