What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Electrician position at Manufacturing Alliance of Philadelphia?
Thirty-year commercial electrical contractor in Philadelphia seeking an experienced commercial electrician/ mechanic to join our team. Commercial experience only. Serious advancement opportunity.
This is a full-time position. $25 - $45/hour. Pay based upon experience.
Qualifications:
- 4- 10 years minimum experience in commercial (not residential)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Must have your own tools
- Experience with EMT conduit, MC cable, PVC conduit, and some GRS conduit
- Extensive experience with reading and understanding blueprints to install lighting, power, and controls accordingly
- Ability to troubleshoot lighting, power, and control circuits, etc.
- Material management/paperwork skills, as well as the ability to communicate with others to complete tasks/projects, etc.
- Occasional evening and weekend work will be required, with overtime pay over 8 hours on weekdays/Saturdays, etc.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
