Position: Light Manufacturing & Installation Technician
Location: Ridgeland, SC (on-site)
Pay: $18.00 hr starting ($35,000–$37,500/year to start; rapid advancement to $40,000 upon proven reliability)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role
Spiritual Quest and our specialized shop in Ridgeland manufacture premium infrared saunas, custom wellness systems, and provide specialty vehicle restyling services (window tinting, PPF, and ceramic coatings).
We are seeking a mechanically minded, detail-oriented builder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and shows up every single day ready to work. If you have experience as a handyman, residential/commercial window installer, glazier, automotive detailer, or light assembly technician, your skills will transfer directly.
What You Will Do
- Assemble, wire, and quality-test components for infrared saunas and wellness equipment.
- Assist with precision prep, glass handling, and installation work.
- Learn advanced high-ticket trade skills—including automotive window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coating—once solid work ethic and consistency are demonstrated.
- Maintain clean shop bays, staging areas, and inventory.
What We Require (Please Read Carefully)
- Proven Track Record of Stability: We are strictly looking for candidates who demonstrate long-term commitment. Do not apply if your work history consists of 3-month stints or frequent job-hopping. We require steady tenure (at least 1–2 consecutive years at previous employers) and solid professional references.
- Flawless Attendance: Our shop runs on tight production schedules. Punctuality and zero unexcused absences during the initial 90 days are mandatory.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with basic power tools, measuring accurately, working with glass/wood, and following structured assembly processes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation to Ridgeland.
Compensation & Career Growth
- Starting Base: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour (paid weekly).
- 90-Day Review & Raise: Successful completion of your 90-day probationary period with excellent attendance and work ethic qualifies you for an immediate 5% to 10% pay increase ($18.50 – $19.80 /hr, putting you on track for $38,500 – $41,000/year).
- Advanced Skill Premium: Continued training in PPF and window tint application unlocks further earning tiers.
