Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are a well-established 90 year old manufacturing/distribution company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to be involved all aspects of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports, supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Job Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Perform monthly closing transactions, trial balance, and journal entries
- Reconcile monthly credit card and banks statements
- Coordinated New Hire Processing and Maintained employee documentation
- Process and reconcile weekly payroll
- Maintain Auto records, registrations, insurance cards, and other required documents
- Compiling tax filings supporting documentation for the Controller
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeping role
- Knowledgeable with AR, AP, GL, P/R as well as all office functions
- Proficient with Excel, Word and other office technologies
- Detail oriented with full understanding of accounting concepts/principles
- Ability to work independently with strong follow through
- Good communication skills
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
