Manager of Client Success

Manufacturer's Edge
Golden, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 7/24/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/17/2027

Company Description Manufacturer's Edge, a private non-profit economic development organization serving as a trusted resource and advisor to manufacturers dedicated to increasing the competitiveness of Colorado manufacturers through practical, results-focused support. Manufacturer's Edge provides expertise in proven methodologies, best practices, and innovative technologies to help manufacturers improve profitability and long-term performance. As a public/private partnership, Manufacturer's Edge connects government, nonprofit, and industry resources to offer comprehensive programs and services. Since 1994, hundreds of Colorado manufacturers have relied on Manufacturer's Edge for strategic solutions and guidance. The organization is the official state affiliate of the national Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), giving clients access to a robust national network.

Role Description The Manager of Client Success is a full-time, hybrid role based on the Front Range of Colorado with flexibility for partial work from home. As the Manager of Client Success, you will lead the effort to identify, pursue, and win new engagements with Colorado manufacturers — meeting and touring prospective client facilities, uncovering opportunities for sustainable improvement, and building a pipeline of high-value solutions that convert into signed, transformative projects. You'll be part of a team that doesn't just manage relationships, but actively generates measurable growth by bringing new work in the door — driving innovation and competitiveness across Colorado's manufacturing sector.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the language of the plant floor and the C-suite, who can spot opportunities, build a case for investment, and work with the Client Success team to negotiate and close projects that deliver real ROI for both the client and the organization. You'll own your targets and be judged on your ability to convert relationships into project opportunities. You will partner with our technical experts, external providers, and state/national stakeholders — but the responsibility for growing the client base rests with you.

Qualifications

  • Client relationship management and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, maintain ongoing communication, and support long-term partnerships.
  • Project coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret client needs, assess performance metrics, and recommend practical, results-oriented solutions.
  • Communication and collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Direct experience in working for or with manufacturing, operations, consulting, or a related field, with familiarity with process improvement, continuous improvement, or business optimization concepts.
  • Proficiency with CRM or client management systems, office productivity tools, and basic data tracking and reporting.
  • 5-7 years in manufacturing, consulting, or business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, show initiative, and adapt to evolving client and organizational needs.

Success Measures

  • Increased pipeline conversion and revenue growth.
  • Positive client feedback and repeat business.
  • Demonstrated impact for manufacturers (cost savings, job creation, revenue growth).
  • Strong collaboration with internal teams, partners, and providers.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000
  • Competitive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO, professional development).
  • Opportunity to directly shape the growth of Colorado’s manufacturing ecosystem.
