This is a full-time position and may require some extended hours to include weekends. Overtime, if necessary, must be approved by your manager in advance. Some areas may follow the flexible schedule 3-day work plan.
responsibilities WILL INCLUDE
- Must be in your assigned work area and ready for work at your designated shift start time.
- Each employee on the Flexible schedule plan is responsible for finding a replacement for your shift (if you need to trade) in a reasonable timeline that does not interfere with production.
- Each employee on the Flexible schedule plan not able to find a replacement, are required to notify your supervisor at least 24 hours prior the day out.
- Harvest, trim, package, curing, and drying duties as assigned or needed.
- Wet trimming and de-fanning plants.
- Weighing, hanging, drying, shucking, de-budding of flowers.
- The ability to shift between areas as assigned or needed.
- Daily record keeping requirements, including electronic documentation of inventory and activities as assigned. (Seed-to-sale software) breakdown of pounds, ounces, eights, grams, shake, etc.
- Daily operation and understanding of packaging and harvest equipment and tools.
- Daily understanding of operations for packaging and harvest processes.
- Daily sanitation and cleaning of tools, equipment, and work area.
- Follow GW SOP and OSHA regulations for all solvent materials and chemicals.
- Ability to perform quality control while packaging, harvesting, and labeling of products.
- Order fulfillment and labeling duties as assigned or needed.
- Waste management and documentation awareness according to COMAR standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the work areas and facilities.
- Maintain and follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) SOP for each designated work area as assigned.
- Follow all safety rules and requirements throughout your work area and facility.
- All other duties as assigned.

Physical demands
The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close vision and distant vision.
