About the Role:

The Environmental Cleaning Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of various environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position involves the use of specialized cleaning techniques and eco-friendly products to minimize environmental impact while effectively removing contaminants. The technician will be responsible for assessing cleaning needs and implementing appropriate strategies to achieve optimal results. By promoting sustainable practices, the technician contributes to the overall well-being of the community and the environment. Ultimately, the goal is to create clean, safe, and healthy spaces for all individuals who utilize these areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles, preferably in an environmental context.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in green cleaning practices or environmental safety.
• Experience with hazardous material handling and disposal.
• Knowledge of local environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of designated areas using environmentally friendly products.
• Assess and identify areas requiring special attention or additional cleaning measures.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Document cleaning activities and report any issues or hazards to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols.
