Manthei Wood Products is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our shipping team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for safely moving, staging, and loading finished products to ensure accurate and on-time shipments.
This position is full-time, hourly position, working 3:00 pm - 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be available on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
What You’ll Do

Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment

Load/unload incoming trucks according to load plans as needed

Maintain equipment through daily inspections and cleanliness

Transport and stack pallets from production to staging areas

Inspect finished products for quality related issues

Verify product counts, grades, and order accuracy

Band, wrap, and secure loads for shipment

Complete basic shipping paperwork and inventory documentation as needed

Attendance is a necessary job function

Learn and perform other production related duties as needed
What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

2-3 years forklift experience with in house certification

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to read shipping paperwork and product labels

Strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs
