Manthei Wood Products is seeking dependable and motivated Manufacturing Production Technicians – 1st Shift to join our production team. This role plays an important part in producing high-quality hardwood veneer and plywood products by performing a variety of hands-on production duties, including machine operation, material handling, inspection, and sorting. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with their hands as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time 1st shift position, Monday - Thursday 5 am - 3 pm or Monday - Friday 6 am - 2pm. Overtime opportunities may be available on Fridays and Saturdays based on production needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform a variety of hands-on production duties to support the manufacturing of hardwood veneer and plywood products
- Work on production lines while maintaining consistent speed, accuracy, and quality
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and correctly
- Inspect, sort, and handle wood materials throughout the production process
- Ensure production requirements and quality standards are consistently met
- Identify and communicate quality concerns or production issues
- Work efficiently to improve productivity without compromising quality or safety
- Properly care for equipment and report maintenance or equipment concerns
- Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Attendance is a necessary job function
- Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report safety concerns
- Cross-train and perform other production-related duties as needed
