This position supports multiple multi-use commercial properties across Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and Charlevoix, blending hands-on facility projects with cleaning and general upkeep. Your home base (and company vehicle) will be located in Petoskey.

Facility & Special Projects

Responsibilities
This is a hybrid role with a mix of special projects and cleaning responsibilities throughout the week with a key focus on the following:
Facility & Special Projects
- Assist with special projects such as painting, staining, flooring, light construction, landscaping, and minor repairs (with oversight from the Maintenance Manager)
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including HVAC systems, air purifiers, water dispensers, and lawn equipment
- Support room setups, furniture moves, and general handyman tasks
- Complete outdoor maintenance such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and minor snow removal
- Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained (oil changes, tires, cleanliness, etc.)
- Clean offices, break rooms, bathrooms, retail spaces, and production areas
- Maintain restrooms by cleaning fixtures, mopping floors, and restocking supplies
- Keep common areas clean through sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and periodic window cleaning
- Clean production areas, including floors, shelving, and storage spaces
- Keep utility and storage rooms organized and orderly
- Report maintenance concerns through company software
- Track work orders, time, and supplies using provided software
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership
- You’ll be successful in this role if you:
- Have prior experience in commercial cleaning or building maintenance
- A valid driver’s license
- Are comfortable using basic software for tracking work and supplies
- Have working knowledge of painting, flooring, construction, and landscaping
- A basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems (a plus, not required)
