Manteo High School Wrestling is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the winter sports season to support both the boys and girls wrestling programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with practices, competitions, and supervision of student-athletes
- Support skill development, conditioning, and match preparation
- Promote teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and positive student relationships
- Help monitor academic progress and eligibility requirements
- Follow all school, district, and North Carolina High School Athletic Association expectations and policies
Qualifications
- Wrestling and/or coaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Must meet all district coaching requirements and background check expectations
Winter season position with after-school practices, evening competitions, and occasional weekend events.
