Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Biotech who is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead their HR function and shape their people strategy in alignment with the overall organisational goals.
You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive HR initiatives, develop and implement policies and programs, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Chief People Officer - Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the People team, overseeing all aspects of human resources management, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to drive HR initiatives, develop and implement policies and programs, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with company objectives and supports overall growth and success
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and HR policies and procedures
- Drive employee engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering a positive work culture that values diversity and promotes inclusivity
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent in a competitive biopharma industry
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication, coordination, and execution of HR programs and initiatives
Chief People Officer - Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Chief Human Resources / People Officer or senior HR / People leader in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
- Extensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies and programs
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing HR team
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and DEI initiatives
