- The Lead Procurement Analyst leads the technical execution of procurement acceleration strategies and validates the accuracy of technical specifications to minimize acquisition delays.
- They coordinate the investigation of procurement bottlenecks and lead the development of technical root-cause analyses for supply chain "choke points." They monitor vendor performance against aggressive timelines and validate the implementation of streamlined SOW templates.
- The Lead Procurement Analyst executes strategic procurement expediting throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
- They translate program-level mission needs into actionable technical specifications and precise SOWs designed to bypass traditionally slow acquisition hurdles and reduce PALT.
- They proactively interface with mission partners to identify and resolve procurement risks before they impact regional readiness and ensure all "asymmetric" requirements meet audit standards.
- The Lead Procurement Analyst provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
- BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline.
- 10 years experience.
- Deep fluency in FAR/DFARS.
- Significant experience drafting complex SOWs and technical requirements.
- PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience with DoD contract management software.
- Professional capacity for strategic process mapping and reducing PALT.
- Must hold an active secret clearance
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
